Process Services

¨ Systems Troubleshooting: Assess fiber system performance by evaluating product variability and changes to fiber character. Make recommendations regarding system design and optimal operating parameters.

¨ Operator Training: Evaluate current practices and operator awareness. Train operators with respect to principles of system operation, proper operating techniques, material test points, sampling and testing methods, and interpretation of test results as they relate to process integrity. Work with operators to construct a corrective action matrix to guide standardized reaction to process upsets. 

¨ General Fiber Training and Education: Conduct specialized training sessions concerning fiber characteristics, web properties, fiber production and modification methods, quality test interpretation, and other process-related topics, specific to your processes and products.

Fiber Services

¨ Systems Development: Drawing on experience with SQC, SPC, QMP, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other quality programs, AMW works with your manufacturing and quality teams to develop a quality control program specific to your manufacturing process. AMW identifies key quality parameters and applies recognized quality control principles to ensure maximum product quality while minimizing resource utilization.

¨ Systems Analysis: Analyze your quality system and recommend/implement improvements to increase quality, improve operator efficiency, and improve record keeping.  

¨ Training: Train quality and operating personnel in the performance of accurate and precise test methodology, interpretation of data, and the application of statistical decision-making practices.  

¨ Test Development: Work with operations, quality personnel, and/or your customers to recommend or develop physical, chemical, or morphological test methods pertinent to your process or product. Recommendations include test equipment specifications, procedure development and training, and statements regarding precision and accuracy.

Quality Services

¨ Supplier/Customer Management: Work with customers and/or suppliers to facilitate materials or product development efforts or to resolve quality issues while promoting a cooperative relationship.

¨ Meeting Facilitation: AMW personnel are trained meeting facilitators for expert cooperative development of action plans, materials designs, and problem solving.  

¨ Expert Witness Testimony: Provide expert opinion in intellectual property or breach of contract litigation regarding fibers and structures  in the public domain, what constitutes "skilled in the art", normal production and delivery practices, and definition of reasonable minimum quality expectations.
